Lipe "Curioso" is a Brazilian photographer, teaching artist, and independent capoeirista based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

His relationship with Capoeira began in Brazil in 2011 and has continued through different communities and traditions in Brazil and the United States.

He is the founder of Capoeira New England, a documentary and community initiative dedicated to photographing, documenting, connecting, and making visible the diverse Capoeira communities across the six New England states.

His approach to teaching brings together movement, music, storytelling, curiosity, and community, creating an environment where Capoeira can be experienced not only as a physical practice, but as a living cultural tradition.
